appreciate your progress

 

Every now and then it’s good to take some quiet time to appreciate the progress you’ve made in your healing.  Doing this is healing in itself!  It helps you see the positive changes you have created in yourself and your life.  It affirms your strength and fortifies your courage.

You have many markers of progress on your journey – moments when you gained an insight that altered your perspective, accomplishments you achieved that once were inconceivable to you, feelings that changed after facing a particular hurdle.

Take a minute or two in your day once in awhile to reflect and ponder the progress you’ve made.  Appreciate how far you’ve come.  Appreciate yourself for all the hard work you’ve done.  And demonstrate your appreciation! Take the time and make the effort to honour yourself in a special way that is meaningful and joyful to you!
